Get deeper into Theatre!

FTC is now accepting applications for our 2008 Teen Apprentice Program

Work in one of the following areas:

Administration - Learn all the areas of theater management that happen in the "office" atmosphere.
Explore Marketing, Development, Education and Box Office duties.

Costume Shop - Experience the process of the costume drawings (renderings) becoming reality.
See just how much time & work goes into building a costume piece .

Scenic Shop - Learn what a Technical Director is and the important role he/she
plays in making the designer’s model/rendering become a reality.

Scenic Painting - Learn how a scenic painter creates the illusion of reality with paint and brush.
From floor treatments to skylines, learn the important role he/she plays in
making the set come to life. (work is only the final week of the rehearsal period.)

Stage Management - Attend and assist with the rehearsals.
Learn the important role that Stage Managers play in the organization of a show.
See how actors and directors work together to create exciting characters & choices.

Become an important part of a dynamic professional theatre company!
Work is Tuesdays-Sundays under the direction of professional theatre technicians
who are eager to share with you their skills, knowledge, techniques,
experience and career advice.

Students must commit to work a minimum of 3-6 hours a week.
New apprentices will be chosen at the start of each new production rehearsal schedule:



On Golden Pond: 8/26 - 9/26
Hamlet: 9/30 - 10/24
Little Women: 10/21 - 11/21
The SantaLand Diaries: 11/1 - 12/3
